Linking Text Frames Tutorial - Step One

Switch to the Text Frame Tool by clicking the Text Frame Tool Button on the toolbar to the left of the interface. Draw a Text Frame by clicking on the page, holding down the left mouse-button and dragging the cursor. Release the left mouse-button to complete the frame.

Switch to the Selection Tool by pressing the ESC or F2 keys, and click on the newly created Text Frame to select it. Left-click on the Text Frame and hold down the left mouse-button.

Drag the mouse to another spot, right-click, and then release the left mouse-button to duplicate the selected frame. When this is done, duplicate the frame again, as shown below.
