Linking Text Frames Tutorial - Step Two

Select all three frames by holding down the SHIFT key and clicking each one individually, or by dragging a Marquee around them all with the Selection Tool.

Then click the Align Top Button on the Align and Distribute Toolbar to the right. The Text Frames will be re-positioned so that their tops are aligned.

Next click the Horizontally Distribute Center Button on the Align and Distribute Toolbar to space the Text Frames evenly. The Align and Distribute Toolbar is a great way to set up perfectly layed-out columns.
