Once you see the cursor, type any characters that you want the Artistic Text to consist of.
Once you've finished typing the text, press the ESC or F2 key, or left-click the Selection Tool Button on the toolbar to the left to switch to the Selection Tool . The Artistic Text will become selected and displays 8 square blue selection handles .
