Other Convenient Graphic Design and Desktop Publishing Tools

CeledyDraw 2 also provides users with a huge array of additional tools and aids to facilitate the design process of any document, from a simple piece of clipart to a complete commercial catalogue.

Zoom:

The Zoom feature can be used to view a document at several different zoom ratios. Users can zoom in on a small part of a document to work on fine details, and then zoom out to work on the page layout and document as a whole.

Group:

Group is an excellent way to keep a set of objects together. Grouped objects can be moved, re-sized, rotated, copied, pasted, filled, and outlined together. When the need arises to modify individual objects, the objects can be ungrouped.

Lock:

Objects in a document can be Locked, preventing any further modification until they're unlocked. The Lock feature is useful for preventing the accidental modification of objects, and avoiding clutter when working with a large number of objects in a small workspace.

Order:

Objects in CeledyDraw 2 are displayed in a specific order, with newly created objects appearing in front of previously created ones. Users can easily switch up the order of objects by sending them forward and backward one step, or to the back and front.

Align:

Through the convenient Align and Distribute Toolbar, users can Align a series of objects along their tops, middles, bottoms, or sides, resulting in aesthetically perfect page layout with the click of a button.

Distribute:

Objects in CeledyDraw 2 can also be evenly distributed either horizontally or vertically with the click of a button. Users can also specify whether objects are to be distributed according to their centres, tops, bottoms, left-sides, or right sides, for perfect layouts, only a few clicks away!

Multiple Undo and Redo:

Users can now re-trace thousands of previous steps while working on a document, making the CeledyDraw 2 extremely user-friendly and forgiving.

Guidelines:

Guidelines are non-printing horizontal and vertical lines that are extremely helpful in laying out a page and viewing the visual boundaries of a drawing.

Grid:

A square Grid can be displayed in the background of the CeledyDraw 2 workspace, ensuring precision for documents requiring a high degree of accuracy, such as schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings. Objects can be snapped to the Grid so that they can only be modified in increments. In addition, units and grid-size can be customized, as well as whether or not the Grid will be printed with the rest of the document

Nudge:

To quickly move objects by very small increments, the nudge command can be used. Objects can be nudged up, down, left, and right by customizable nudge distances.

Paper Color:

The Paper Color of the current document can be changed to any other color. This is an excellent way to get a look and feel for what different designs would look like on different colored paper.

View Modes:

CeledyDraw also offers several View Modes - Wireframe, Draft, and Normal. Wireframe is the fastest, but only shows the outlines of all the objects in the document. Draft displays all the objects, including their fills at lower resolutions, and Normal displays all objects and fills at full resolution.
